Big news: Segments.ai got ISO 27001 certified! ISO 27001 is the international standard for information security, with the goal of protecting all data within an organization. What this means for you is that your data is in safe hands with us.

Improved docs

We’ve been working hard on improving our documentation. You’ll notice that the docs are now divided into 4 sections: tutorials, how-to guides, background, and reference. This helps new users get started quickly, while letting more experienced users dig deeper into specific problems they want to solve. Let us know if you feel something is still missing!

Helpful code snippets

In the same spirit of improving the developer experience, we’ve added helpful code snippets all throughout the web platform. These copy-pasteable snippets show how you can take certain actions programmatically using the Python SDK such as creating a dataset or uploading an image. Saving you a trip to the docs.

Other features and improvements

In the dataset settings, you can now optionally enable a save button for the start labeling / reviewing workflows. This way labelers can save their intermediate progress without submitting the sample.
The insights section on the overview tab now also shows statistics for object-level attributes.
Setting up an integration with a private S3 bucket is made easier.
Improved performance and bugfixes in the pointcloud interface.
Improved performance when paginating through samples.
API and Python SDK: added additional filtering capabilities for the list samples endpoint.
