CES is always an exciting time for sensor technology, especially when it comes to lidar and radar solutions driving innovations in autonomous vehicles, robotics, and beyond. As a data annotation platform at the forefront of machine learning and computer vision, Segments.ai is thrilled to see these cutting-edge sensors in action – because more sensors mean more (and richer) data to annotate!

Below, we’ve compiled a quick overview of the lidar and radar companies exhibiting at CES this year. Each one is pushing the boundaries of perception technology, enabling new applications that rely on accurate, high-quality sensor data.

Though Elon Musk calls lidar a “crutch,” these exhibitors show how lidar and radar power what NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang calls the first multi-trillion-dollar robotics industry.
